If you have to choose, which is more important? I ask many people that & even some doctors. Most people think that exercise is very important. Well yes it is, but when it comes to weight loss, healthy eating beats it hands down.
Say you eat lots of food including a fair amount of junk & you make up this bad habit with plenty of exercises. Experts said it wont help. You might as well cut out the junk, cut out the excess sugar & carbohydrates.
Having said that, need to point out exercises is still important for general health. However when it comes to weight loss, dieting cum healthy eating still reign supreme :))
My struggles with weight. My interesting experience with weight Loss interventions. Reviews on Vit C, whitening injections, investments risks & more.....

Loving the self service check out at Cold Storage & Giant.
I'm crazy about the self service check out at Cold Storage. Have you done it? Or do you even know what I'm talking about?
I was thinking that's like the best thing that's happened to supermarket shopping. Dont know when did it actually started here, but it came to a Cold Storage here my place last year.
Why I love it? .......... it's just plain fun scanning each item myself. I dont know why but I love it ! Also usually there's no queue. Might seem a little intimidating at first, but there's always a staff near-by who'll help with any hiccups. So dont worry try it !

Mr Lee Kuan Yew Invested his whole life with Singapore
And what did he get in return ? The question should really be what do we get?
...Everything ....... largely because of him !
The past week has been very sad. We lost our founding father. I obviously dont know him personally. But no... I actually do. Look around, everything that works in Modern Singapore is part of him, as a result of him, so ya...... in that sense I do know him. And in that sense, his spirit would be around for a long long time, even when people like me & you are gone.
So sad. This is but a small tribute to a Great Great Man.
I like this picture of Li Ka Shing at the wake:
Hong Kong's Superman paying respect to LKY....... now that says alot doesnt it?

What's the best investment? Invest in yourself !
1. Haircuts
Let's face it. You wear your hair every single day, so why not invest in it? The right cut for your facial shape can change your overall look—and for the better. And don't forget to get trims often to avoid your hair from splitting. Experts advise ,if your hair is in pretty good condition and you don’t color it or use excessive heat styling tools, you can go 4-8 weeks in between cuts.” If you use chemicals in your hair, strive to visit your stylist once every 4-6 weeks.

2. Highlights
I am a firm believer that the words, "highlight" and "at-home" should never go together. Professionals know exactly where to place the highlights and they have all the tools needed to mix the perfect shade for your hair. Together, this drastically lessens the chance of a hair catastrophe that can often happen with at-home highlights. Professional colorists will strategically paint on the highlights, making it look like the sun has naturally kissed your hair.
3. Facials
When your skin looks great, everything else seems to fall into place. By booking a facial, you're not only getting a one time treatment, but you're technically hiring a skincare consultant who can answer any questions you may have on how to treat your skin. No, they don't come cheap (don’t go to the cheap ones that hard sell you everything) , but getting a good facial every few months will remove congestion from deep within your skin, improve circulation, and help balance your skin type.
4. Eating Well
Sure, fresh fruits and veggies might not be the easiest on your wallet, but it's the most sure fire way to being healthy from the inside out. When you eat well, it reflects in your skin, hair, nails, and not to mention, your energy levels. Strive to keep the white stuff (that's white bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, and sweets) out of your diet as much as possible. These carbs spike our sugar levels, setting off a series of reactions that leads to breakouts. Some foods that are great for your overall beauty are tomatoes, almonds, fish, chia seeds, kale, watermelon, sweet potatoes, citrus, peppers, spinach, olive oil, honey, sunflower and sesame seeds, carrots, blueberries, dark chocolate, whole grains, strawberries, and apples. Add these to your diet instead of those super convenient hawker food or fast foods trust me, you'll look and feel more radiant.

What's the best investment? You'll never regret if you invest in yourself !
What if you have no money for any major investment?
A house in a good location cost at least somewhere around $2million or more. You need at least $250,00- to buy a single bond. Blue chips the safest shares are all pretty expensive. Infact for most "good" investments, you need a sizeable capital.
Well for those of us who do not have a very healthy bank account , or rich families, I suggest we "invest in ourselves"
Yes, update the wardrobe- throw away all the old outdated clothes & shoes. Go for a course to upgrade. Get a second degree, a masters. Have a new look, cut or dye your hair. Ditch any friend who are leeches- you know what I mean...lol... at the same time stay away from negative ones. Do it for yourself! I'm taking a day off & Going to my hair-dresser, getting a pedicure than shopping. How about you ?
